Compton Rising Book Club The aptly named “Compton-Rising-Not-Too-Early-on-Saturday-Morning” began in the summer of 2005 two years ago and has grown in enthusiam and participation.The group typically meets on the third Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. and the location alternates between The
6 North Coffee House on Sarah and Laclede Streets in the Central West End and participant’s homes.

Anyone is welcome to join the group for one or more meetings. People are also encouraged to read along with the group even if they are unable to attend. The Book Club’s monthly selections can be found at Left Bank Books on Euclid Avenue.
